I was released from my job, Car got broken into AND, Dog was run over all in 1 day! Decided to try the TC Yorkshire Pudding Wrap and IMMEDIATELY all of my troubles sailed away. The first part is a lie but the food is no joke! Seriously good and only £6.49! Atmosphere only scored 4/5 as I had to listen to a table full of grandads army stories and they wreaked of urine.

Stopped off here for a Sunday roast with the family. It was very busy when we arrived around 5 o’clock but was greeted by a friendly lady who explained there was about a half an hour wait. Had a drink at the bar whilst waiting for a table but was soon called across. The meat was beautiful, much nicer than other carvery’s I’ve been to and plenty of choice of vegetables too. The lady serving the drinks at the table was one of the kindest people I have met in a long time. I didn’t catch her name but she’s a credit to this place. Overall a really lovely meal and friendly staff.

During my visit to Toby Carvery this Saturday afternoon, I was fortunate enough to be served by Brodie, whose professionalism and warmth made the entire experience so much better. She strikes that rare balance between attentiveness and discretion, ensuring our table was never left wanting while allowing us to enjoy our meal at our own pace. Glasses for refillable drinks were given promptly and plates were cleared efficiently when we'd eaten. Brodie was polite, friendly and personable, making us feel genuinely welcome rather than simply “served.” It’s clear she takes great pride in her role, and this dedication reflects extremely well on the Toby Carvery brand. In our view, she is an invaluable asset to the team. I've been here before, but my experience today was so much better. As for the food, it was exactly what you hope for at Toby Carvery, fresh and well prepared. Combined with such outstanding service, it made for an experience I would happily recommend to anyone.

Sure! Here’s an example of an average (neutral to slightly positive) review for Toby Carvery: ⸻ Had lunch at Toby Carvery recently. The food was decent overall, though the meat slices were a bit too thin for my liking — would have preferred a bit more on the plate. That said, the vegetables and sides were fresh and tasty. One thing I appreciated was the ample parking space, which made the visit much more convenient. Not a bad experience, but there’s room for improvement.

We popped in on a quiet Saturday afternoon around 2pm, the food was pretty good although the mash and vegetarian gravy were not so nice, we were happy with the portions and went back up for extra roasties and macaroni cheese. Overall a good meal although we kept bothering staff with questions as we didn't quite understand how it worked and it wasn't written down anywhere. Refillable drinks is a definite bonus, the cost was reasonable, we will definitely be going back!

We were tourists in Dudley, and in half term the Toby offers are amazing for the kids. So after a visit at the museum we book a table for go and have a nice meal with friends. Sadly I can’t give a five stars review because wasn’t the best experience eating there. As costumes you expect have a wonderful service when you go to eat out, because is not all the time that you go. I really don’t like write bad reviews about the places but I feel that us as costumes have to be important to the business. I can’t change one place only with what I said but I really don’t want that people have high expectations when go to one place, be ready in advance a you will feel les dissatisfied. One of the chef was not so friendly with us, I am not sure why, i went to the till to order drinks because I think that all the staff were busy, the lady behind the bar was really friendly, so thank you for her. And at the end we wants use our vouchers for can have best price, the lady look not so happy when we ask for this part. The food is always amazing, I can’t complain about the roast because the price is really great for the quality and flavour of the food. So hopefully all of you that have a plan to go, have a best experience when you visit the place.

Lovely place to eat. Man at the bar was patient as we worked out cheapest way to dine and have drinks as well. Server let us leave one pint in the tap for later and chocolate pudding on hold till we had finished our carvery. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely carvery and surprise of lamb on offer as choice of meat. Overall a great few hours. The man at the bar is a credit to you.
